Chazz Peterson holds Mount Offer

Trenton, NJ guard Chazz Peterson currently holds an offer from Mt. St. Mary's according to www.nbebasketball.com. Peterson plays his AAU basketball with Team Philly. The 6-3 shooting guard appears to have a good jumper, which is becoming a constant in Robert Burke recruits, but he also gets into the lane and runs well in transition.

We had heard the Mount was in on some good players but hadn't really heard any names. Now some of the names are becoming apparent.

NBE's report from Phoenix.....

A pair of talented players displayed their many talents over the two days for Team Philly, with guard Chazz Patterson (2012) and forward Brandon Taylor (2012) both playing well. Taylor’s basketball influences (guys he studies) include Dirk Nowitzki and Antonio Pena, and with his ability to knock down three-pointers it’s easy to see why Taylor would watch the recent NBA champion.

Chazz Patterson currently holds offers from Boston University, UMBCMount St. Mary’s and Rider.

Here is a 2009 report from recruitrecon.com

Chazz Patterson (2012, 6-1 SG)
Chazz is a lanky guard with a quick handle.  He had a left handed finish in transition.  He used several fine spin moves to free himself.  Chazz picked up a steal and scored on the break.  He had a nice drive and dish play and he putback his own miss too.
